Our next reading will be Sunday, September 12th from 5 – 7 PM
at the Red and Black Café: 400 SE 12th Ave. (503)231-3899
Join us for an early evening of readings and performances from local writers and artists; meet others working in community arts, check out our latest issue, and support independent publishing! Also – enjoy delicious vegan food, beverages, and locally brewed beers from our favorite collectively run café.
Kids are welcome! Romantic date idea! Short and sweet!
We hope to see you there.

This is how Alltopia works:
- If your piece is selected for publication in an issue of Alltopia, you will be invited to attend a pre-publication editing potluck. You will have the opportunity to give and receive feedback on all the pieces included in the upcoming issue, meet other writers in your area, and share ideas and tips for all stages of the process, from brainstorm to book launch.
- Final versions will be resubmitted to the editor after the workshop potluck.
- Each issue of the Alltopia antholozine will be publicized through regional businesses, co-ops, and multimedia, as well as through public readings at local cafes and watering holes. All submitting writers are encouraged to participate.
Alltopia writers help build their creative communities, educate one another about ideas and practices, and gain name recognition and experience through print and behind the mic.
If you are a local venue and/or (tea-coffee-brew-booze-vino) drinking establishment and are interested in hosting an Alltopia reading, please contact our editor at lara@alltopia.org.
